Out of Bounds
A ball is out of bounds if it lies:

Beyond a Wall/Fence/Temporary hoarding or line of white stakes/paint forming the boundary of the course

Penalty Areas
All water hazards are deemed to be lateral water hazards and are defined by red stakes/paint. Lateral water hazards are found on holes 2, 3, 4, 9 and 18.

Immovable Obstructions

All artificial roads and pathways

Sprinkler heads and irrigation control boxes are classed as immovable obstructions

Newly planted trees/shrubs are defined by wooden stacks and full relief must be taken

Movable Obstructions
Stones in native areas are classed as movable obstructions

Ground Under Repair (G.U.R)
Areas are defined by continuous white lines or appropriate signage is defined as GUR. Play is prohibited from G.U.R demarcated areas.

Sandy Waste Areas
All sandy waste areas should be treated as general area. The club can be grounded in these areas as they are not classed as bunkers.

Ball in General Area
The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b if an immovable obstruction is, on the line of play and is:

Within two club-lengths of the putting green, and
-
Within two club-lengths of the ball.
